IAN HUNTER AND THE RANT BAND - KOMEDIA BATH

While perhaps not exhibiting the same historical significance as the spa city of Bath itself, Ian Hunter has a musical heritage envied by most. One of Britain’s finest, most consistent song writers, lead singer with the superlative Mott The Hoople in the early 70's, worked with luminaries including David Bowie, Mick Ronson, Mick Jones and Todd Rundgren to name a miniscule few, his C.V up there with the absolute cream of the industry.  And now, at the age of 73, retirement still obviously not an option, new and critically acclaimed album “When I’m President” released early September, before undertaking an October tour of Sweden, Scotland and England prior dates back in the U.S and Canada during November and December. The recording and performing light far from dimming, no energy saving alternatives required just yet.

INCASSUM - NEW VIDEO RELEASE FOR "WORLD'S FEAR"

Following the initial release into the public domain of "Blood Soaked Banner" taken from debut full length Incassum album "Rite of Passage," a second track breaks ground with accompanying video. "World's Fear" another prime example of pulverising Mancunian Death Metal, some of the finest female growled vocals around, intricately blistering guitar interplay and pummelling, driving rhythm section propelling the song to gargantuan levels.

Pre- Order an exclusive "Rite of Passage" fan pack today, (only 50 available) with an official release of November 19th through Rocksector Records and check out the album launch party at Club Alter Ego in Manchester on November 24th. Two absolutely essential dates for the diary.

KISS - GOOD NEW MATERIAL SHOCKER

I'm not a Kiss fan, over the years I've detested the image, the pompous pantomime rock, everything.  Now, after all this time, they've actually produced something, which can be described as.......good..... a rawer sound, more gutsy, just good old fashioned heavy rock 'n' roll .

There, I've said it, Kiss in decent material shocker.  Listen for yourselves, the band releasing a couple of tracks for streaming.

KISS release 2 new tracks from new album, Monster

KISS have released two tracks from upcoming album Monster. Listen to Long Way Down and All For the Love of Rock & Roll below.

Fans are expecting great things after the success of 2009′s Sonic Boom – the record they made after spending years insisting they wouldn’t return to the studio.

Gene Simmons says it’s all down to the band’s most recent additions. “Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer have revitalised us,” he explains. “They have a work ethic and the talent to back it up.

“There are no symphony orchestras, boy choirs, keyboards, outside producers or songwriters on this album. The best thing we did was to turn inwards to ourselves.”

Monster is released October 8th.
